  • 2019 Registration opening date information:

For future events, online registration opens on our website about 8 weeks ahead of the scheduled event date. We post opening date announcements in a staggered cycle running about 12 weeks ahead of the event date. As soon as we firmly set the opening date for a future event, that is always posted on the master calendar page: http://chintrackdays.com/schedule.aspx If you don't see an opening date for a future event posted, it means that the opening date HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED YET. No need to send an email asking, "when is the opening date?" Just keep an eye on the calendar page, and it will eventually be announced, always well in advance.

And, here's some important tips on beating the waiting list: Thanks to enthusiasts like you, Chin Track Days events have become widely popular. Our emphasis is on lower enrollment, fewer run groups and more track time. However, the limits on enrollment also create rapid sell-outs at some venues. Our most popular event dates can sell-out the same day that we open registration. So, if you're nonchalant about registering, you'll be left on the sidelines. We provide several tools to our members to inform themselves about registration dates. Here are some tips:

The rule of thumb is that registration will open at least 8 weeks in advance of an event. This is stated in several places on our website. Don't wait 'till 4 weeks out, you're likely to end up on the waiting list.

Our email newsletter, Track Times, always announces opening day for future registration. If you're not receiving Track Times in your inbox, you can click on it right on our homepage: http://chintrackdays.com/track-times-newsletter.aspx . Current Chin members are automatically on the mailing list. There is no charge to join our email list. Sign up for Track Times newsletter here

Posted future opening dates are shown on the master calendar page, http://chintrackdays.com/schedule.aspx

Also, if you are a Google Calendar user, our opening dates are posted on our Google Calendar, http://chintrackdays.com/google-calendar.aspx. You can schedule your notifications to alert you on registration opening days.

We also announce opening dates weekly on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/chintrackdays/

So, getting an entry is not a random chance: a driver that makes plans in advance, and informs themselves about when registration begins, will be successful.

If you do not yet have a member account on our website, we recommend completing membership enrollment in advance of opening day. "Join Chin" on the homepage of our website. This will ensure that you have already received a member password. Then, you'll be able to login and complete registration promptly when it opens.

Once registration opens for an event, it is first-come, first-served, and it is web-based. Entries cannot be reserved ahead of the opening date; and we do not take event registration over the phone.

Our limited enrollment ensures a high-quality track experience, but also creates rapid sell-outs, so be prepared to act promptly when registration commences. It is the user's responsibility to be proactive and timely to successfully register. Once we reach the capacity, a waiting list is started. We usually add several drivers from the waiting list later on, so don't hesitate to send your request.
